Borgo Villa Maria

History

Pensione Maria was built in 1964 around the lakes of Monticchio. It was originally born as a little guesthouse with 18 rooms and a small restaurant. The structure was built thanks to the entrepreneurial passion of Mastrantonio Grieco and named after his beloved wife.

In 1992 his son Angelo began a process of restructuring, which was completed in 1999, aimed to offer a renovated style, but keeping the focus on customers, that had always characterised the management of this family hotel.

In 1996, the structure, which changed its name to Hotel Villa Maria, became a delightful family-run hotel.

In 2012 the hotel started a new process of renewal that sees its transformation in an integrated accommodation, catering and leisure activities (sports, discovery and relax), called Borgo Villa Maria. The Borgo covers an area of 10,000 square meters including a large park, equipped spaces for children, private parking, room fireplace, a large banquet hall, swimming pools and a tennis court within the same area a little and nice typical Lucan restaurant called Bramea.
